God commands you to repent and put your faith in Jesus alone for salvation. Cry out to God, confessing and forsaking your sins. Trust in what Jesus did for salvation, not in your own deeds. This song is awesome. Pornography had become a besetting sin that I battled off and on for more than 25 years. It was like an addiction. I asked God many times to help me break that bondage and eventually told Him that if I could not kill that sin, I would rather He kill ME because I did not want to disobey and dishonor Him any longer. Around the same time I prayed that prayer, I was given a clean bill of health from my doctor. "You're the picture of health", I was told. But a few months after that prayer I was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I believe the cancer is divine chastisement but I am thankful for the chastisement. The chastisement means I belong to God and I no longer struggle with that abhorrent addiction to pornography. I thank God for musicians like Steph Macleod. Steph, thank you for your transparency.

Wonderful still. When do you do the next live concert? We all miss you. One suggestion though: I love to sing along and I am sure others do so, and many softwares can be found today, some even free to use, that broadcast the lyrics live, even on top of the video feed. I love all your songs, they are all my favorites, but there is something about your songs in Gaelic. Even though I do not understand a word sung, it is just such a beautiful language, definitely very melodious and singable, unlike my native Danish. God Bless!

I just adore this hymn and requested it be sung at both my daughter’s and my mother’s funeral service. In advance, I am requesting it be sung at my funeral. It is such a powerful hymn and brings out the emotion in me every time I hear it. This is a beautiful rendition of Be Thou My Vision. Thank you and God bless.

Beautiful Irish hymn, very old, first written in Irish Gaelic of course. I love listening to it in Irish, English, and Spanish as a citizen of Mexico, the Republic of Ireland, and the USA.
